ABOUT THE ROLE
REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our growing groundworks and civil engineering team. The ideal candidate would hold formal qualifications or be working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar. You will be responsible for managing commercial aspects of projects from tender stage through to final account stage and be expected to manage your own projects, although full support will be provided. A full UK driving license is essential for this position.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Measurement and valuation of works (on site and from drawings)
Submitting and agreement of interim valuations, variations and final accounts
Maintain accurate commercial records
Subcontract procurement
Manage subcontract payments, variations and final accounts
Submission of budget and cost reports
REQUIRED SKILLS
Formal qualifications or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveyor
Ability to manage your own time with minimal supervision
Good communication skills
Highly organised and able to work as part of a team
Full UK driving licence
